Queen's Bongcloud
[edit | edit source]2. Kd2?
[edit | edit source]2. Kd2? is thought to be the second worst following move to 1. d4 d5 (the worst move is 2. Bh6??) The problems with 2. Kd2? are that the King move prevents castling to protect the King, endangers the King, and ignores development. Like the normal Bongcloud Attack, this move may be played to gain a psychological advantage, or as a handicap.
